THALAIVAA TEAM FORWARDS TO HUNGER STRIKE

It has already been a week since
"Thalaivaa", starring Vijay and Amala
Paul, hit the screens worldwide.But
film lovers in Tamil Nadu and
Puducherry are yet to see it, as the
film's release has been stalled in the
state following threats from a political
outfit. The makers of the film can't
announce the release date as it is yet
to get a green signal.
Frustrated over the long delay in the
release of the film, the "Thalaivaa"
team plans to go on a hunger strike,
protesting against the released delay.
"#Thalaivaa team plans 2 sit on a
hunger strike against non-release of
the film in Tamil Nadu. They have
sought police permission," tweeted
senior film journalist Sreedhar Pillai.
Producer Chandraprakash Jain has
requested Tamil Nadu Chief Minister
Jayalalitha to intervene and ensure the
release of the film in the state, saying
that he will take the matter to the
streets if the film is not released this
weekend.
Actor Vijay had earlier made an
emotional speech in a video,
requesting his fans not buy pirated
DVDs of the film.
And finally the victim results in hunger strike in tamil nadu . Hence
